The Wait plugin is a valuable addition to HCL Workload Automation, designed to introduce customizable delays into your workflows. This functionality is essential for various scenarios where controlled pauses are necessary to synchronize tasks, avoid overloading systems, or ensure proper data processing. Download the Wait plugin from Automation Hub to enhance your Workload Automation setup. Perform Wait plugin with Workload Automation Log in to the Dynamic Workload Console and open the Workload Designer. Choose to create a new job and select “Wait” job type in the Native section. General Tab: Name: User can provide any name in name field Workstation: You need to choose the workstation Action: In the Action tab specify the duration. Duration: The duration of time before the job is executed. Submitting your job: It is time to Submit your job to the current plan. You can add your job to the job stream that automates your business process flow. Select the action menu in the top-left corner of the job definition panel and click on Submit Job into Current Plan. A confirmation message is displayed, and you can switch to the Monitoring view to see what is going on. Monitor Page: Users can track the jobs in the monitor page.
