 New in Workload Automation? The Application Catalog can help you!! The Workload Automation on Cloud Solution includes a growing set of ready-to-use applications covering a large number of categories. Each application is equipped with a video and documentation with usage scenarios  From your Workload Automation on Cloud tenant (trial or purchased) you are enabled to deploy each application from the catalog in your environment by adding few data to customize it. In few minutes the application is ready to run. Visit the Application Catalog frequently since it is continuously updated. What is an application? An application is one or more pre-packaged processes containing all the steps and the necessary code to achieve its goal. The application will run on one of your installed workload automation agents. Deployed applications are available into the Self Service Catalog to run via mobile on your request or they can be scheduled to run automatically whenever you want. Who can use applications?
How you can use applications? Log into your Workload Automation trial or purchased tenant and click on the (Add application) button in the Application Catalog; Select the agent on which you want the application runs and insert the requested data from your environment. Then click “Add the application” button.  Once the application has been deployed in your environment you can immediately run it from the mobile interface Self Service Catalog or access the other web interface to add deeper customization using the links on the page: for example you can add a trigger to schedule it or modify it by adding new steps and dependencies with your own processes. Access now the Application Catalog and look for the best application for you!! Maria Elena Massino is a Software Engineer in Workload Automation development team located in HCL Rome Hub. She is working in WA development team since 2004 and during all this time she acquired a significative experience on all the different components of the family: Dynamic Workload Console, Workload Scheduler z/OS connector, Workload Scheduler for z/OS and distributed. For all of them she is also responsible of the globalization process. She worked also on the Workload Automation on Cloud offering, initially as Beta program leader, then she developed the Applications in the Application Catalog. She has a Maths background and she is currently coordinating the HighCreativityLabs project for HCL Italy to teach coding to students of primary and secondary schools.
