The world needs a HERO!

Workload Automation is a very reliable software and sometimes, like any other products, we need to take care about it, especially when facing several installations. Like everything in the world, if you do not take care of it, it will not take care of you; therefore, we have designed and developed HERO. Register for the HCL Clara and HERO webinar to learn more.

HERO helps you monitor, control, and prevent difficult situations in a proactive way. It early intercepts possible changes in the infrastructure that could affect the business running on the WA infrastructure. It is composed of an intuitive and responsive web interface, designed to look after the progresses and the health of your environments.

As you can see from the image above, HERO shows at a glance, in real time, the overall situation of your Workload Automation environments and helps you control the critical components, such as MDM, TDWC, DB2 and WAS.

With HERO, you can also monitor the performance of queues and throughputs and, thanks to a mechanism of machine learning, prevent any possible future problems! Leveraging a single dashboard with KPIs, throughput and queues trends, you get insights on your infrastructure weaknesses, to better plan resource allocation and achieve optimum performance.

You can customize HERO through the web interface and have the different environments ready to be monitored, specifying the severity level of each environment. For instance, you can set an environment to ‘PROD’, which means that it is an environment of production and it will be highlighted with a higher priority than an environment set to 'TEST’ or ‘Quality Assurance’. Moreover, by logging in at the Workload Automation machine of the specific environment (production, quality or test) you will be able to retrieve all components installed on each server. For example:

you can insert the hostname, username and password of the machine you want to monitor. HERO automatically discovers all the components installed and then activate the monitor(s) you want.

With HERO we provide a list of available monitors that can be activated on each server. In case of error, the monitor suggests you, in a proactive way, the recovery action that should be performed. Every monitor is highlighted with a different color, from green to red. In addition to the list of the available monitors, HERO provides an infrastructure that enables you to create your own plugins and have them on the list.

HERO is intended to give you the best solution in monitoring and recovery automation, has been designed and developed with the latest technology of machine learning.
